K so my tax return was over 100k last year from crypto but for some reason the bank won't approve my HomeEquityLoan because I don't have an income the past two months because for some reason selling assets isn't considered income according to the bank plus they want to know where I got the money.

What's a cheat way I have income of over 7k the last 2 months so they'll approve me? I really want this loan. I have family that can help fake my income or whatever,

There was really a time where you could go to college for programming and immediately be hired for a six figure job right out of school. All you had to do was type in a comfy chair in a comfy air conditioned room for 8 hours. No fear of layoffs, and even if there were layoffs, it's fine because you would just immediately find another place to work because of how in demand your role was

Why do so few /biz/ anons build businesses? Is the risk/reward ratio just not there anymore for most people? Is building a business no longer a life hack to making it?

I just spent the last 7 days with some boomer family members and noticed they were spending around $150 per person, per day on food. That’s about $4,500 per month per person, or roughly $1,050 over the week.

What stood out was that these boomers were clearly wealthy, they never seemed to think twice about the bill. Spending on restaurants was simply normal to them. I know they do this non-stop.

The restaurants themselves were also packed with people around their age.

On the other hand, the hotter, trendier areas were filled with younger people and working professionals. I highly doubt most of them have the same level of wealth, yet they were still spending freely on dining out.

It got me thinking: if you’re not already wealthy, could spending thousands of dollars a month on dining out be quietly eating into your ability to save and invest? Is this part of why so many younger people struggle to build savings or own assets, or are housing costs, wages, and other economic factors far bigger drivers? Dining out is clearly a luxury.

Curious to hear what /biz/ thinks. How much do you spend per month food? Dining out?

I have around $50k in stocks of the company that is planing to delist from stock exchange. They're trying to buyback enough stocks to reach 95% ownership and then squeeze out remaining shareholders.
What should I do? Take an offer for buyback that is maybe 5% above market now or wait for squeeze out phase? What are the chances I'll get higher price at squeeze out?
