If the payment processor handles wallet interactions and our customers can receive their payments through their normal payment infrastructure (Like how Stripe lets the money land in the form of USD), why wouldn't more SaaS platforms offer it as, at LEAST, an optional payment method?

I get that there are obvious arguments against the idea.
- Most customers use cards
- Crypto's reputation has had a problem due to years of scams
- Businesses don't want accounting/tax headaches
- Refunds/disputes can work differently than cards
- Some founders assume there isn't enough demand

We recently added crypto payments. The interesting part for me though wasn't trying to turn my platform into a "crypto product" because we're definitely not that. We were showcasing our product to a business owner who brought up their frustration when they've had customers ask about paying in crypto and being unable to offer that to them. For us... it was a no brainer.

Crypto STILL lands as USD in your account, so it's not like you have to suddenly start juggling crypto coins. Which means, something much more straightforward and simple occurred... Crypto is now just another button at checkout.

The customer who would like to use it CAN. Everyone else ignores it.
- It doesn't add to infrastructure cost
- It doesn't create additional business headaches with taxes because it's all USD when it settles
- If working with Stripe, it literally takes 30 seconds to add value to your customers

So, how do other founders view all of this? If you knew crypto is relatively painless to support and implement, would you enable it? If not, what else is stopping you? Lack of demand? Trust? Taxes? Or do you think crypto as a payment method isn't really solving a problem that exists? What if more business owners just aren't talking about it?
