Does anyone actually understand how QNT works? I read about the things they talk about but I don't understand how they can unify completely different blockchains and have them settle.

This is not FUD I just don't understand. Normally if I want a cross chain swap I need to have a bridge to hold the tokens frozen right? So I swap SOL for ETH and a bridge freezes a token on one chain and then mints a new token on the other chain. Then if I want to swap back I can unwrap and undo this process. But how does Quant is proud to say that they cross chain atomic swaps without bridges to drain or pegs to break, but HOW?

I don't think anyone here knows anything, but can someone explain it? I doubt it.

Economic bubbles have been boons to human progress. The canal building bubble, which you could argue is the first truly modern bubble boomed, then bust. And the infrastructure that was built is still paying dividends centuries later. Even though all the companies that built them went bankrupt.
The rail bubble happened in the 1800s, and the companies involved in it that built the rail infrastructure went bankrupt, but their infrastructure is still paying dividends almost two centuries later.
The great depression, which during it, there was a speculative boom in electrification, automotive, radio, built the infrastructure that was the foundation of the modern world.
The dotcom bubble built the infrastructure that enabled the modern internet. The fibre optic infrastructure that was laid during it was extremely capital and labour intensive because everywhere it was laid, the ground had to be dug up. It's still paying dividends three decades later and the internet depends on this infrastructure. Those cables are going to be good for a very long time, and modernising it, they just replace equipment on the ends of the cables.

These bubbles, they involved pain in the short term, but in the long term they really paid off even if the companies that built these things weren't around anymore to reap the benefits.

But because the companies that owned the infrastructure went bankrupt, the assets were sold for pennies on the dollar, and dirt cheap infrastructure enables innovation that wasn't even imaginable at the time it was built.
