Winner will receive an upgrade to their living space - (65" C8L or 98" C6K) Second and Third will receive a soundbar! (Q65HK) These are the TOP 5 - eligible entries. Winner announced on the 19th June. - Full T&Cs apply [link] After careful consideration, we sent the entries over to the r/malelivingspace mod who has been helping us with the competition. Entry 1. 1. Mid-Century Man Cave Here's my new setup! After a recent split-up, what was once my partner's candle workshop has been transformed into my very own mid-century man cave/cinema room. On a budget, I picked up the 50" TCL C6KS as a temporary TV because they were so well priced, but it's honestly been far better than I expected. That said, the 65" C8L would be the perfect upgrade for my living room! Our Thoughts : With a recent break-up they transformed their living space from a Candle makers side hustle to a awesome stylish Cinema room. We share the same shade of green sofa. Entry 2. 2. Livingroom/cinema setup. The tv is the weakest link currently. Running a 5.1.2 setup. Our Thoughts : Getting approval is the always the hardest part of any set-up! Showcasing some home cinema magic - Almost a complete set-up Entry 3. 3. Best seat in the house Moved here couple of months ago. Live alone got this tcl tv second hand while studying. Now I'm working and saving money to get a Good tv. I was researching on what to get for the past 2-3 weeks or more. Weighing more towards miniled because I'm scared of burn in. Our Thoughts: The essentials for any living room, a TV, sofa perfectly aligned, and a coffee table. This is definitely the best seat in this specific space. Entry 4. 4. Everything always not bigger as 55" This is my setup: A 42-inch LG OLED Evo C3 connected to an AppleTV 4K, a FireTV Cube 3rd generation, a Sky cable receiver, a PS4 and an Xbox Series X (I think the Sky receiver was connected after I took this photo). I've never had a big TV bigger than 55 inches or 42 inches. That's why winning the TCL would be a huge improvement for me. Our Thoughts: A hobbyist, collecting various different items - including star wars figures. [The title might not read correctly converting German into English] Entry 5. 5. Gaming Haven This corner of the house has become my go-to place. Built around gaming, movies and ambient lighting, I've tried to create a space that's both immersive and relaxing. The LED backlighting behind the TV completely transforms my room at night, while the PS5 setup is perfect for escaping into another world after a long day. Our Thoughts: This set-up already looks pretty complete, the ambilight behind the TV, The TV itself - all looks premium and polished. This is the contrast to a few others! ____________________ Comment below to submit your winner! My first real apartment and couldn‘t be happier about the progress:)
Sat, 13 Jun 2026 19:08:43After a tough year I finally was able to get a new job, car, and my first real apartment. Still sort of newish, only moved in like 2 months ago but I‘m happy with it so far. M23 first attempt at furnishing
Sat, 13 Jun 2026 08:47:17This is my first post here and is looking for advice, this is my first time furnishing a living room. Looking for some advice and ideas to make it look more "lived in" or "cozy", I just think it feels kinda bland and empty. some things are off like one half of the curtain rod is missing because the drywall needs some small repairing. One spotlight to the left is missing, and the vinyls are not centered over the sideboard but that is getting fixed also. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated! Also sorry, English is not my first language:) submitted by /u/Reineborg [link] [comments]

My first solo place in decades.
Sat, 13 Jun 2026 18:44:24Found myself single again in my mid 40’s. From a shared, 1800sf McMansion to a 470sf studio loft apartment. It’s feeling more like home every day. submitted by /u/FutureGhost81 [link] [comments]

First place of my own
Sat, 13 Jun 2026 15:11:29First time living alone as I went through two back to back long term relationships after leaving home. Been here 6 months and got everything sorted but feel like it's very gray and kinda bland, any thoughts on adding colour. It's a rented place so I can't do anything about walls or floor coverings. submitted by /u/MattBryceOfficial [link] [comments]

Moving into a new studio apartment, basically one big square, need advice
Sat, 13 Jun 2026 18:06:25So, my current apartment complex is terrible and every summer I've lost AC for weeks, and I live in a VERY hot place, so I'm lawyering up, breaking my lease, and moving. Only other place I can afford is ~10sqft smaller, which isn't a problem, my main concern is I'm moving from like, an L shaped studio apartment to a big square. I need to figure out how to section stuff off without it looking like I'm living in a storage unit you know? I'm thinking about partitions? Big shelves? Hell maybe even a way to partition the end of my bed so I could have like, a small table and chairs there. By the way. nothing is measured or to scale, I'm sketching out how I think it'll fit based on how stuff fits in relation to furniture in my current apartment and hoping for the best. submitted by /u/No-Specialist5528 [link] [comments]

M19 room upgrade
Sat, 13 Jun 2026 03:03:41Hi everyone, I'm planning to renovate this room and would like some suggestions. Everything currently in the room will be removed, and the final setup will be very simple with just a single bed and a desk for my laptop. Based on the room's size, shape, and lighting, what wall color would you choose? Also, how would you decorate it to make it look modern, spacious, and comfortable? I'd love to hear your ideas and see what you'd do if this were your room. P.s my room is long 🥲 P.s the room is under construction as unfinished walls and floor is visible "Everything will be gone just a single bed and a study table will be here. No one is living in this room right now submitted by /u/Intrepid_Film3861 [link] [comments]

M23 first apartment
Fri, 12 Jun 2026 23:36:14Lease is coming to an end soon. I’m moving into a smaller space. I’ve come a long way. Used to be those foldable chairs next to the tv for about 4 months with the TV on the ground. What can I add/change? submitted by /u/Drewsky_Gus [link] [comments]

Ideas for this space above my stairs? 37 inches in width.
Sat, 13 Jun 2026 17:55:52Hi all. Just moved into my first condo! My immediate thought is maybe a flag or a shelving to display something? Maybe a light? What do you guys think? The space is inaccessible without a ladder, so storage might be cumbersome. Open to ideas! submitted by /u/Thezombie7000 [link] [comments]
